Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lorry Driver to transport and deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers, job sites, and designated locations.
Key Responsibilities
Transport and deliver goods to customers and designated locations according to the delivery schedule.
Ensure goods are loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded safely.
Check delivery orders, invoices, and goods before departure and upon delivery.
Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery where required.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the lorry is clean and well maintained.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays, or any delivery issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures.
Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
Maintain accurate delivery records and submit relevant documents on time.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements
Possess a valid class 3 driving license
Previous experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes.
Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading when required.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
