Key Responsibilities:

• Quantity Take-Offs: Perform manual and software measurements from drawings, applying standard rules.
• Rate Analysis & BUR: Build detailed Built-Up Rates (BUR) for concrete, formwork, and rebar.
• Tender & Pricing Support: Gather supplier quotes, prepare preliminary cost estimates, and analyze tender comparison summaries beyond just the bottom-line price.
• Variation Orders (VOs): Document, price, track, and evaluate changes to the construction scope.
• Post-Contract Administration: Assist with monthly progress claim valuations, site measurements, and cost control.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of QS experience in a main contractor environment.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Key Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel, measurement rules, BUR breakdown (concrete, formwork, rebar), and tender analysis.
