Job description:

A) Responsibilities / Authorities

Manage the customs clearance process for all import and export shipments.

Ensure that all shipments comply with customs laws, including proper classification and declaration of goods.

Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure the timely clearance of goods.

Prepare and submit customs documents such as import/export declarations, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation required for customs processes.

Maintain detailed records of all import/export transactions for audit and compliance purposes.

Stay updated on changes to customs regulations, tariffs, taxes, and duties.

Manage the application of necessary permits and licenses related to import and export activities.

B) Basic Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in customs clearance, import/export, or logistics operations.

Familiar with customs regulations and documentation.

Strong knowledge of local and international customs laws.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with authorities, agents, and internal stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills to handle customs clearance, compliance, and regulatory issues effectively.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
