About the role

Develop and expand the food salt market in Malaysia. Identify and acquire new customers, including distributors, wholesalers, food manufacturers and other potential business partners. Conduct market research, analyze market demand, industry trends and competitors. Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers and key accounts to increase market coverage.

About you

• Experience in food, seasoning, edible salt, FMCG or related industries is preferred

• B2B sales, distributor development or key account management experience is preferred

• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Strong market awareness and ability to identify business opportunities

• Able to work independently, develop new customers and solve problems effectively

• Willing to travel frequently and work flexible hours when required

• Strong sense of responsibility, target-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure

• Chinese language proficiency is an advantage for communication with Chinese-speaking customers and business partners

• Candidates with existing customer or distributor networks in Malaysia, particularly within the food industry, will have an advantage

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the food salt market in Malaysia

• Identify and acquire new customers, including distributors, wholesalers, food manufacturers and other potential business partners

• Achieve the company's assigned sales targets and performance objectives

• Conduct market research and analyze market demand, industry trends and competitors

• Identify potential business opportunities and develop new customer accounts

• Provide market insights and support the localization of products and sales strategies for the Malaysian market

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers and key accounts

• Establish and expand sales channels to increase market coverage

• Follow up on quotations, orders, payments and after-sales matters

• Prepare regular reports on customer development, market activities and sales performance
