About the Role:

We are looking for a Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building great user experiences while having a strong understanding of backend development. This role is ideal for a developer who is strong in ReactJS and React Native, but also has solid hands-on knowledge of Node.js, APIs and backend technologies, and is ready to grow into a Technical Lead role within approximately 6-12 months.

You will initially focus on delivering high-quality frontend solutions while progressively taking on greater responsibility across the full technology stack, technical decision-making and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using ReactJS, React Native and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop clean, scalable and reusable frontend components with strong attention to UI/UX, usability and performance.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Integrate and work with RESTful APIs and other backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, Business and other technical team members to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in system design, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development, with increasing ownership of the full technology stack.
• Identify technical improvements and propose practical solutions to improve application quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to other developers as you progress into the Technical Lead role.
• As Technical Lead, take ownership of technical direction, development standards, code quality, architecture decisions and delivery across projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Frontend – Strong

• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Good understanding of modern frontend frameworks, component-based development and responsive web development.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles, usability and performance optimisation.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable and reusable frontend applications.

Backend – Good Working Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with Node.js using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Good understanding of backend development and server-side application design.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with databases, authentication, third-party integrations and other related backend technologies.
• Comfortable working across the frontend and backend when required.

Full Stack & Technical Capability

• Ability to understand the end-to-end application architecture, from frontend and mobile applications through to APIs and backend services.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across different layers of an application.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, Git/version control, testing and deployment practices.
• Able to learn new technologies quickly and transition into broader full-stack responsibilities.

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
