Hands-On Role! Join a Dynamic Production & Operations Team!

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Crating Personnel to support daily packing, crating and shipment preparation activities.

If you enjoy practical work, are comfortable handling goods and equipment, and take pride in ensuring items are properly packed and protected, this is a great opportunity to be part of a production and operations team!

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble wooden crates according to required measurements and specifications.
• Pack and secure machinery, equipment and components for storage, transportation and shipment.
• Use appropriate packing materials such as foam, bubble wrap, cushioning and protective covers to prevent damage during transit.
• Assist with loading, unloading and positioning of goods safely.
• Handle heavy, fragile and sensitive equipment with care.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure shipments are packed and prepared on schedule.
• Inspect crates and packing materials to ensure they meet operational and customer requirements.
• Check item labels, shipment markings and packing instructions for accuracy.
• Report any damaged items, discrepancies or packing issues to the supervisor.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper manual-handling practices.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including monitoring packing materials and maintaining tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Comfortable performing hands-on crating, packing and material-handling duties.
• Able to handle physical work and equipment safely.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools will be an advantage.
• Meticulous and responsible with good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and follow workplace safety procedures.
