Role Description This hybrid ( part or full time) Takaful Advisor role is based in Kuala Lumpur. The advisor will engage with clients to understand their financial goals and protection needs, and recommend appropriate takaful, insurance, and investment solutions aligned with Shariah principles and AIA’s product offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial needs analyses, preparing tailored proposals, and reviewing clients’ portfolios regularly to ensure they remain on track for savings, protection, and retirement objectives. The role involves building and maintaining long-term client relationships, providing ongoing service and policy support, and staying informed about market trends, regulatory requirements, and AIA’s latest products. The advisor will also participate in training, sales activities, and community outreach to grow their client base and contribute to AIA’s presence in the local market.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply takaful and Shariah-compliant concepts in financial recommendations (relevant certifications are an advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work within a structured sales and advisory environment.
• Diploma or degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; relevant professional licenses or registrations as required by local regulations.
