We are seeking a Technical Director – Geotechnical Engineering to provide technical leadership and governance across major infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical engineering strategy, technical reviews, and risk management across projects.
• Provide expert guidance on ground engineering, foundations, excavation, slope stability, and geotechnical design.
• Ensure technical quality, compliance, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor and develop geotechnical engineering teams and subject matter experts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical specialization, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering leadership within infrastructure, transportation, tunneling, mining, energy, or major construction projects.
• Strong expertise in geotechnical investigations, foundation systems, earthworks, ground improvement, and geotechnical risk management.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and providing technical governance.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional accreditation is highly preferred.

Important: We will only consider candidates with a strong Geotechnical Engineering background and proven geotechnical project experience. Candidates from other engineering disciplines will not be shortlisted.
