About the role

Join WuXi Biologics as a Supply Chain Material Planning Manager, where you will lead material planning and supply coordination to ensure timely availability of materials for GMP manufacturing projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will optimise inventory, manage material risks and drive supply chain efficiency to support business and production requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material demand forecasts based on project requirements, production schedules and business needs to ensure material readiness.
• Oversee GMP material requirements for manufacturing projects, including new material sourcing, qualification coordination and project-specific procurement planning.
• Monitor inventory levels, optimise replenishment plans and develop inventory strategies to minimise shortages, excess stock and holding costs.
• Develop material supply plans and collaborate with Production, Procurement, MSAT, Quality, Warehouse and other relevant teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor supplier commitments, identify potential material shortages and supply chain risks, and coordinate mitigation plans to minimise operational disruptions.
• Analyse supply chain performance, prepare management reports and track key performance indicators to support data-driven decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in material planning processes while ensuring adherence to applicable GMP requirements and company policies.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent relevant working experience.
• Experience in supply chain planning, material planning, inventory management or a related function.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments; experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP, MRP or other material planning systems is preferred.
