We're Hiring: Commercial Finance, Business Partner

Singapore | Supporting Singapore & Malaysia

We seek a dynamic and commercially sharp Business Partner in Commercial Finance to be our frontline strategic financial leader across Singapore and Malaysia. This is an individual contributor role designed for a self-directed financial professional who thrives on independence, drives impact through critical thinking, and energizes teams through collaborative partnership and infectious enthusiasm.

You will operate at the nexus of finance, strategy, and commercial decision-making—turning complex financial data into compelling narratives that influence leadership decisions. Your mandate is to optimize costs, unlock revenue opportunities, and navigate commercial and operational risks across our dominant market and growth engine, with potential expansion across ASEAN.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Build robust financial models (P&L, cash flow, feasibility studies) to support strategic decisions
• Create dynamic scenario models that explore best-case, base-case, and downside outcomes
• Perform sensitivity and variance analysis; stress-test assumptions under different market conditions
• Maintain data integrity; challenge assumptions; document logic and methodology

Business Scenario Development & Interpretation

• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and testable hypotheses
• Design multi-option scenarios for senior leadership decision-making
• Interpret modeling outputs with critical lens; identify data anomalies and reconcile differences
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights into coherent strategic narratives

Data Storytelling & Communication

• Distill complex financial analyses into compelling, actionable narratives for diverse audiences
• Create executive dashboards and visualization frameworks that guide decision-making
• Present findings with clarity, conviction, and intellectual honesty; articulate both opportunities and limitations
• Translate financial insights into commercial and operational language; avoid jargon when possible

Strategic Partnership & Influence

• Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders, CFO, and senior management across Singapore and Malaysia
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand commercial drivers and decision-making contexts
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment on financial priorities and trade-offs
• Influence stakeholders through quality analysis, clear communication, and demonstrated judgment

Market Intelligence & Commercial Navigation

• Maintain deep understanding of commercial and regulatory landscape in Singapore, Malaysia, and broader ASEAN
• Identify market trends and competitive dynamics that impact financial projections and assumptions
• Provide forward-looking insights on market opportunities and headwinds
• Support business development and market entry initiatives with financial due diligence

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, commercial finance, corporate finance, or business partnering roles
• Proven track record building complex financial models and delivering insights that influenced significant business decisions
• Demonstrated expertise in scenario analysis, financial forecasting, and commercial due diligence
• Hands-on experience working across Singapore and/or Malaysia markets; familiarity with ASEAN regulatory and commercial landscape
• Background in people resourcing business, commercial operations, corporate transformation, or comparable analytical environment
• Portfolio of work demonstrating data storytelling and effective communication of complex findings to senior leadership
