About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive
Senior
Accounts Executive
to join our finance team on a part-time basis.
You will support the Finance Manager in daily finance operations, payment reviews and month-end activities, while helping to improve finance processes and internal controls.
This role is suitable for experienced accountants seeking a meaningful part-time position with flexible working arrangements. The workload is designed to fit a part-time schedule while providing opportunities to contribute to finance operations and process improvements.
Job Summary
Join Jpex Asia as a part-time Senior Accounts Executive supporting finance operations, payment reviews, month-end closing, and process improvements. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to enhance finance functions and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Handle full set accounts, including AP, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
Prepare payment proposals for management approval.
Prepare GST workings and audit schedules.
Maintain accounting records and General Ledger.
Accounts Payable
Review supplier invoices and verify supporting documents before processing payments.
Ensure expenses are correctly allocated.
Follow up with internal departments to clarify incomplete or unusual transactions.
ERP System (Odoo)
Maintain accounting transactions in Odoo ERP.
Support finance process improvements and ERP enhancements.
Assist with management reporting when required.
Group Finance Support
Support finance activities across the JPEX Group when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' accounting experience with full set accounts.
Good knowledge of Singapore GST and accounting standards.
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is an advantage).
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate with different departments.
SME experience is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or Claude).
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The role is designed around approximately 20–30 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements to be discussed.
