The company supports deployments from short-term daily jobs to long-term engagements lasting several months. HIAP HENG GROUP serves both minor and major construction projects, offering flexible, reliable solutions to contractors and builders.

Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements for the group’s crane rental and construction activities. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing. The role also involves preparing management reports, supporting budgeting and cost control, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and liaising with auditors and external stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in general accounting, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, billing, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Ability to support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis for construction and equipment rental operations.
• Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with operations, project, and management teams.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in construction, logistics, or equipment rental industries is beneficial.
