Job Description – Dispatch Staff

Job Title: Dispatch & Quality Control Staff
Salary: SGD $2,000 – $2,500 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Order Checking: Check customer orders against order sheets, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy.
• Cake Packing: Carefully pack cakes and bakery products to maintain their quality, freshness, and appearance during delivery.
• Dispatch Coordination: Organise and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all cakes are labelled correctly and handed over to delivery personnel on time.
• Quality Control (QC): Inspect cakes and packaging for quality, presentation, correct quantities, and any damage before dispatch.
• Order Accuracy: Ensure the correct cakes, flavours, sizes, quantities, and customer details are matched to each order.
• Cleanliness & Hygiene: Keep the packing and dispatch areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times, following proper food hygiene standards.
• Stock & Packing Materials: Monitor packing supplies and inform the supervisor when items need replenishment.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with the bakery and production teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfilment.

Job Requirements

• Responsible, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Able to handle cakes carefully and maintain high quality standards.
• Willing to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety procedures.
• Previous experience in bakery packing, dispatch, or quality control is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
