Job Description
Plan, design and supervise civil and structural construction works.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed according to approved plans, specifications and project schedules.
Conduct site inspections and ensure construction works meet required quality standards.
Supervise site activities and provide technical guidance to site teams.
Check dimensions, levels, materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Identify technical issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager on project planning and execution.
Monitor project costs, materials and resources where required.
Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore construction standards, regulations and workplace safety requirements.
Prepare progress reports, inspection records and other engineering documentation.
Attend site meetings and coordinate technical matters with relevant parties.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in
Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline
.
Minimum
3 years of relevant civil/construction engineering experience
.
Experience in construction site supervision and project coordination.
Good knowledge of civil construction methods, engineering principles and technical standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
Good knowledge of project scheduling, quality control and site coordination.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/design software such as AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and workplace safety requirements will be an advantage.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors and consultants.
