Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in automotive manufacturing / NPI.

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans preferred.

• Strong project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work closely with production and engineering teams.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.

• Mandarin proficiency is essential for effective communication with clients, suppliers and management. Candidate must be able to speak, read and write fluently in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead automotive projects from concept to production launch (NPI).

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

• Ensure all processes, SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions are prepared and implemented for new projects.

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supplier teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Coordinate trial runs, process validation, and production handover for new projects.

• Support internal and customer audits, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project processes and manufacturing efficiency.

• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentation for management and customer review.

• Authorized to plan, implement, and monitor project activities within approved scope.

• Authorized to recommend and implement corrective actions related to project execution.

• Authorized to approve project-related process documentation prior to management endorsement.

Working Condition

• Based in manufacturing / production environment, may require presence on the production floor.

• May require extended hours during project launch, trial runs, or customer audits.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time completion of project milestones.

• Successful NPI launches meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.

• Reduction in project-related defects / rework.

• Compliance with SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and documentation.

• On-time completion of NPI, trials, and validations.

• Audit performance (zero major findings).
