Customer service experience

Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

Researching and completing formal Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) from some of Fastenal Company's largest current and potential customers

Working closely with the following groups: Fastenal Sales Teams, Fastenal Product Development Teams, Manufacturers and Customers

Working on a team that is focused on both MRO and OEM parts

Cross referencing parts based on customer's specifications

Identifying sources of supply for non-standard items as well as providing accurate alternate or substitute items when feasible

Collaborating with Fastenal Supplier Development team to help advance supplier onboards, roadmaps and continuous improvement of data content

Assisting the Fastenal Lean Solution team with the implementation of new business

Working with Fastenal Industry Sales Specialists and Fastenal Engineers to better understand customers' needs and solutions

Negotiating bid details for optimal costing or cost savings initiatives with suppliers and manufacturers.
