Responsibilities:

• Support banking and enterprise applications by handling application enhancements, maintenance, and functional testing across production and non-production environments.
• Investigate production incidents through technical troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring issues.
• Perform database investigations and data validation using Oracle and SQL to identify and resolve application-related problems.
• Monitor application performance using AppDynamics and manage scheduled jobs through Control-M to maintain service stability.
• Troubleshoot application servers, including JBoss and WebSphere, and support application changes and defect resolution.
• Assist with disaster recovery (DR) exercises, failover operations, and application restoration for business-critical systems.
• Use Linux, AIX, UNIX, and Shell Scripting to investigate system issues and automate repetitive support activities.
• Manage Jira support tickets, prioritize incidents, coordinate with clients and technical teams, and maintain technical documentation to support timely resolution.

Requirements:

•  Minimum 2 years of experience in application support environment, including 2+ years in the banking domain, with 6+ years of overall experience in application and production support.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, AIX, and UNIX operating systems, including system-level troubleshooting and Shell Scripting automation.
• Strong experience in incident management, problem management, technical troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Hands on experience with Oracle databases, SQL queries, and Oracle SQL performance tuning for application issue investigation.
• Experience with AppDynamics for application performance monitoring and Control-M for job scheduling and batch operations.
• Strong experience in JBoss administration and familiarity with WebSphere application servers for application maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in supporting banking applications, functional testing, application enhancements, disaster recovery (DR), and failover operations.
• Experience with Jira-based ticket management, client coordination, change implementation, and technical documentation for production support activities.
