JOB VACANCY | SITE QUANTITY SURVEYOR (SITE QS)

Company — Maha Asia Global Sdn Bhd
Project location — Kempas, Johor (site-based)
Employment type — 1-year contract
Monthly salary — RM3,500–RM5,000

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site measurements and verify completed work against drawings and the Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare monthly progress claims and compile supporting documents, including measurement records and site photos.
• Check subcontractors’ progress claims against actual work completed and prepare payment recommendations.
• Prepare quotations and cost breakdowns for variation orders, and maintain an up-to-date variation register.
• Track project costs, compare supplier and subcontractor quotations, and report any variances to the project team.
• Maintain records of claims, payments and variations, and assist with preparing final accounts.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience in site quantity surveying or construction cost management is preferred.
• Able to read construction drawings, take off quantities and prepare progress claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to maintain accurate records.
• Willing to work on-site in Kempas, Johor for the duration of the contract.
