Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join an audit firm in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of external audit experience, strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting, and the ability to manage audit assignments, liaise with clients, and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit assignments for clients across various industries.
• Plan audit engagements, assess risks, and ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards and regulations.
• Review financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documents.
• Identify audit issues, evaluate internal controls, and recommend improvements.
• Supervise and guide junior audit team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve audit-related queries.
• Ensure audit reports are completed within deadlines and comply with relevant standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant external audit experience.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), MPERS, and applicable auditing standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and work independently under tight deadlines.
• Experience in supervising junior team members is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, MICPA, or MIA membership are an added advantage.
