Job Description: Production Engineer

Job Scope

• Required to work on day and night shifts according to the assigned schedule.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process abnormalities.
• Apply hands-on technical knowledge of Control Panels (Power Box) and Gas Box systems to support production operations, equipment setup, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and production issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with the Maintenance team to support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity, improve yield, reduce cycle time, and minimize production costs.
• Support the introduction of new products and processes, including equipment setup, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues.
• Prepare and submit production technical reports, including output, productivity, downtime, and quality issues
• Report production technical performance, abnormalities, and corrective actions to the superior
• Ensure proper shift handover and reporting of outstanding issues
• Provide technical input for material evaluation, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
