• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a railway project

• Own transport, and willing to travel to Penang Island

• Location: Penang (project site on Penang Island)

Job Overview

Make sure all site activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies, and maintain occupational health and safety (OHS) standards across the site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and make sure the site complies

• Review near misses, incidents and accidents to find the root cause and put corrective actions in place

• Provide safety training and briefings to employees and subcontractors

• Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports

• Keep records and documentation as required by the company and by law

• Make sure daily site operations follow safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements
