About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead Malaysia's procurement and supply chain function, supporting both ongoing operations and major data center construction projects. This is a strategic and hands-on procurement leadership role responsible for managing procurement activities across all CAPEX and OPEX spend categories while ensuring governance, cost optimization, and supplier performance.

Requirement

• Minimum 8 years of procurement and/or supply chain experience. 

• Strong background in project procurement, ideally involving MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

projects. 

• Experience managing RFPs, tender processes, contract negotiation, and contract closure. 

• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP. 

• Strong supplier network and familiarity with infrastructure-related vendors in Malaysia.

• Commercially strong negotiator. 

• Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on. 

• Experienced in managing complex procurement packages in construction or critical infrastructure

environments. 

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

• Governance-focused with high attention to compliance and risk management.
