Job Summary

We are seeking an AWS Cloud & Systems Engineer to provide second-level infrastructure support and administration across AWS, Windows, and Linux environments in a managed services setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS EC2 instances and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable service delivery
• Perform Windows and Linux server administration, troubleshooting issues to maintain system stability
• Execute operating system patching and security hardening to protect infrastructure integrity
• Manage AWS IAM and access controls to enforce security policies and operational compliance
• Support backup, recovery, and restoration operations to safeguard data availability and integrity
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests to minimize downtime
• Execute approved infrastructure changes following change management procedures to maintain system stability
• Troubleshoot operational issues across AWS, Windows, and Linux platforms to ensure continuous service
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident records for knowledge sharing and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and Windows/Linux infrastructure operations
• Proven expertise in AWS EC2 administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
• Experience in patching, security hardening, backup, and recovery operations
• Working knowledge of AWS IAM, infrastructure monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting production environments under SLA requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification
