Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager / Resource Manager to oversee resource planning, recruitment, client engagement, and operational management for banking projects across Malaysia and the region. The role involves close collaboration with clients, management, recruitment, and delivery teams to ensure effective resource deployment, project support, and client satisfaction. Mandarin proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Resource Management: Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, utilization, bench management, and manpower forecasting across banking projects.
• Recruitment & Staffing: Coordinate recruitment, candidate screening, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and resource deployment.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong banking client relationships, coordinate staffing requirements, manage expectations, and resolve escalations.
• Operations & Administration: Oversee timesheets, billing and invoice coordination, reporting, documentation, leave administration, and compliance support.
• Business Support: Assist with management reporting, resource planning, and operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, recruitment, account management, project coordination, or operations within an IT vendor or consulting environment.
• Banking or financial services exposure is highly preferred.
• Experience in technology recruitment, workforce planning, and client-facing coordination.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken, reading, and writing) is mandatory.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
