Our client is a technology-driven engineering organisation focused on delivering secure, scalable, and mission-critical digital solutions that support large-scale public sector initiatives.

The team works across full-stack software development, cloud-native platforms, DevSecOps, and modern software architecture, leveraging Agile delivery practices to build reliable and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of software features, applications, APIs, and services.
• Drive technical design, solution planning, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business requirements.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and support team capability development.
• Manage technical risks, delivery timelines, and software quality across assigned projects or workstreams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while promoting continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience, with 3+ years leading software teams, projects, or workstreams.
• Strong experience with modern development technologies such as TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js), Java, C#, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, SDLC, REST APIs, microservices, secure coding, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices is advantageous.
