Summary:
- Support inspection and maintenance program for static equipment (Pressure Vessel, piping and tanks for both topside and marine), as per local regulation, Code and Std & CLASS requirement for all BUMIARMADA fleets
- Review static equipment inspection report by conducting corrosion rate assessment and remaining life calculation.
- working together with Senior Engineer in providing response and resolve any Technical Queries (TQ) related to integrity of Static Equipment including fitness for service assessment when necessary
- Ensure the commitment towards Bumi Armada company policies, local statutory, industry, Classification Society, corporate standards, HSE and procedures by the team.
- Perform onshore/offshore Asset Integrity audits for compliance, identify and develop plans to close gaps.
- Liaise with Maintenance and Technical Support - Operations, and Operations Managers (OM) and Offshore Management Team(s) (OMT) frequently on Asset Integrity activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Managing the working condition of the assets specifically with static equipment integrity through planning, monitoring and execution stage during O&M phase:
- Manage static equipment inspection program including planning, monitoring and implementation. To liase directly with respective FPSOs.
- Review Inspection Reports and provide recommendation on any findings found during the inspection, including suitability and limitation on various inspection techniques.
- Handle any defects & anomalies found until closure.
- Provide support on static equipment inspection activity under CLASS Special Survey Program by reviewing UT report, perform corrosion rate and remaining life assessment.
- Provide Support to RBI team on RBI Programme for any technical issues such as providing Pressure Min Thickness Calculation & Engineering Data for the RBI assessment / Periodical Review/Corrosion Loop Mark up.
- Provide support/assistant to Senior Engineer in performing Fitness for Service assessment based on API 579 if required.
- Contribute to safety improvements.
Document Management:
- Prepare related inspection guideline for static equipment as part of improvement and gap closure for enhancement of inspection and monitoring activity.
- Update/revise current related inspection guideline/ document under Asset Integrity for improvement or new revision.
- Supporting new project in preparing Asset Integrity related document for FEED/EPCI stage.
Requirements:
Education Qualifications/Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Marine / Structural Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Preferably candidate with background in Asset Integrity Management (AIM) for Process Containment System, PSV, Hull & Structures.
- Preferably candidate with exposure to upstream operations experience related to FPSO/FLNG
- Basic knowledge of temporary repair as per ASME PCC2.
- Basic knowledge of various NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods and the application, capabilities, and limitation is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of API & Recommended Practice e.g. API 510, API 570, API 576, API 579
- Basic knowledge on welding requirement e.g. WPS, PQR, & WQT
