HIRING: QUALITY ENGINEER – AEROSPACE | SINGAPORE ️

We are currently looking for experienced Quality Engineers to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment in Singapore.

Location: Singapore

Nationality: Open to all nationalities

Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

️ Experience: Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment

Qualification: Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering

Shift: Willingness to work rotating shifts required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and implement Quality Assurance activities to achieve plant quality metrics and Quality Management System objectives.

• Develop detailed inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications and regulatory standards.

• Work closely with Design and Engineering teams to establish appropriate inspection methods and criteria for new parts, assemblies and systems.

• Select suitable inspection tools, techniques and measurement equipment, including CMM, optical measurement systems and gauges.

• Establish acceptance criteria and tolerances based on engineering drawings, material specifications and industry standards.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, documentation and records to ensure full traceability.

• Support First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspection and final inspection activities.

• Create CMM / gear inspection programs for in-process and final inspection.

• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, AS9102, AS13100, NADCAP, FAA regulations and customer-specific requirements.

• Support internal and external audits relating to inspection processes and quality systems.

• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and inspection failures using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA and Fishbone Analysis.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve inspection efficiency, accuracy and reliability.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and support relevant EHS activities.

REQUIREMENTS

️ Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering

️ Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

️ Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T

️ Hands-on experience with inspection equipment such as CMM, calipers, micrometers and gauges

️ Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and aerospace standards

️ Experience with AS9100 / AS9102 / AS13100 is highly advantageous

️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

️ Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

️ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use basic CAD/drawing software

️ Knowledge of CMM and NDT will be an added advantage

️ Good communication and interpersonal skills

️ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

️ Able to work rotating shifts
