About the role
Make your mark in General Insurance claims. Focus on personal lines while overseeing broader property insurance claims, expertly manage complex personal accident and medical cases, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve outstanding operational results.
Key responsibilities
Handle, investigate, assess and settle all classes of insurance claims
Handle complex claims cases and make decisions and recommendations for Personal Accident and Medical within the company's KPIs and approval limits
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality customer service
Produce claims documentation and administration, and answer clients' inquiries
Liaise with the Accounting team regarding claims settlements
Assist in preparing claims' reports and statistics
Provide support to the team for any ad-hoc projects as required
Key requirements:
Bachelor degree holder with recognized insurance professional qualification, e.g. IIQE Paper 1, 2
At least 5+ years solid GI claim handling experience
Strong technical knowledge in GI insurance product
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Independent with strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Customer oriented, self-motivated and detail-minded
