About the Roles

We are looking for an Early Intervention Teacher to join an education centre in Paya Lebar on a permanent, 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday). Working hours are either 8am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 6pm. The position offers a basic salary with Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and Variable Bonus (VB), providing an opportunity to support students' learning, development, and behavioural progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Observe students' behaviour and apply behavioral therapy principles to support their development.
• Develop and implement individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's learning needs.
• Assess students' performance, monitor progress, and update IEPs to reflect their development and learning goals.
• Facilitate classroom activities and manage groups of 4–5 students alongside other teachers.
• Identify and respond to significant improvements in students' behaviours.
• Apply behavioural redirection techniques to guide students towards appropriate behaviours.
• Address challenging behaviours using appropriate intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate written records of each student's development and progress.
• Provide regular updates to managers and parents regarding students' learning and behavioural progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Nitec qualification in Special Education, Education or Psychology.
• Good knowledge of best practices in inclusive and special education to support students with diverse learning needs.

Education:

• Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• teaching primary school children: 1 year (Preferred)
• applying ABA principles (special needs education): 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• permanent working rights with no restrictions in singapore (Preferred)
