Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities)

Obtain quotations, Process purchase requisitions (PRs) and Issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers accurately and on time

Source and purchase raw materials (direct/indirect) for the factory in line with production schedules, stock levels and quality requirements

Issue order acknowledgements to suppliers confirming quantity, specification, lead time and delivery date

Key in supplier invoices into the system, checking against the purchase order and delivery order (DO), verifying delivery timing, and expediting outstanding orders

Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery conditions to optimise cost

Maintain accurate procurement records, agreements, price lists and vendor master data

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Job Requirement (Qualifications & Experience)

Tertiary education in any discipline; Engineering or Supply Chain preferred

Minimum 1 to 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment

Good negotiation, communication and vendor management skills

Proficiency in MS Office
