Job Title:
Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant / Executive (6-Week Temp)
Employment Type:
Full-time, Temporary Contract (6 Weeks)
Working Hours:
5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Salary Range:
S$2,400 – S$2,880/month (or equivalent hourly rate S$15 - S$18/hr)
Job Overview
The temporary AP Assistant will join our finance team to provide short-term operational support. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment vouchers, and staff expense claims
Responsibilities
Invoice Processing:
Verify, code, and input trade and non-trade supplier invoices into the accounting system with high accuracy
Statement Reconciliation:
Reconcile vendor SOA against the internal ledger system and investigate any discrepancies
Payment Execution:
Assist in preparing weekly/ad-hoc payment runs via internet banking and issue payment advice to vendors
Claims & Expenses:
Verify staff mileage, entertainment, and petty cash claims in accordance with company expense policies
Ad-hoc Duties:
Provide support for month-end closing tasks and maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for finance documentation
Job Requirements
Education:
Diploma or LCCI/Nitec certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting functions (Fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is highly advantageous
Soft Skills:
Meticulous with strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work under tight timelines
Availability:
Immediate starter
or candidate with a very short notice period preferred
