What The Role Is

As a Senior Head or Senior/ Lead Manager, Data and Analytics in the Higher Education Planning Office, you will conduct research and comparative studies to build a knowledge base on Singapore's higher education sector to support educational policies and reviews.

What You Will Be Working On

• Conduct research and studies on the higher education sector to drive and support policy development and formulation
• Identify, collect and analyse data to build a knowledge base on the higher education sector
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (e.g. Institutes of Higher Learning and economic agencies) to conduct research studies and plan the manpower pipeline for the Singapore economy
• Manage higher education data and facilitate data requests from government agencies
• Support the development of data capability across the Higher Education Group in MOE

What We Are Looking For

• Trained in quantitative disciplines such as statistics, applied mathematics, business analytics, data science or economics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Interest in data analytics, with familiarity with data management, statistical methods/ packages and analytical tools
• Ability to work well both independently and in teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders with different interests and perspectives
• Keen eye for detail and good sense of perspective
