JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for enthusiastic Engineers to join us as Project Engineers.

The role is to support our Commissioning Teams deliver construction projects from start to completion (Cx Process L0 to L6), working closely with our Project Leads the candidate is expected to learn and understand the processes involved, implement them on site and have sufficient technical knowledge to support troubleshooting and issue resolution with contractors and vendors.

You should understand the project lifecycle and be aware of the schedule commitments necessary as well as the technical excellence required to meet today’s building specification requirements.

More experienced candidates could be considered for Assistant Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Manager or Senior Commissioning Manager roles.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and understand testing procedures and pass criteria.
• Undertake witnessing of testing and commissioning activities on site and report results.
• Monitor site progress and update progress trackers
• Attend site meetings and support the team in highlighting successes and issues found.
• Support technical discussion with clients and other stakeholders.
• Review and track vendor responses and method statements.
• Review contract drawings and specifications to understand the design and system operation.
• Manage and handle project administration and documentation tasks.
• Assist Managers in ensuring the successful implementation and completion of projects.
• Support HS&E compliance through PPE use, hazard reporting, documentation assistance, and safe work practices.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Diploma or above in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or other similar qualifications
• Reliable and proactive working attitude.
• Keen to learn new skills and knowledge outside your comfort zone.
• Good communication / interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle all stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a good team player
• Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages, such as Mandarin, is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia and internationally. Temporary relocation may be required, and accommodation will be provided.
• Immediately available is highly preferred
• Computer literacy is essential

Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Engineers with 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical systems and BS coordination, preferably with exposure to multinational corporations, are also welcome to apply.
