We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and API development, NodeJS to build and support scalable cloud-native applications. The role involves hands-on development, solution design, code reviews, and production support in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs.

• Build and deploy applications on AWS Cloud.

• Perform software design, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.

• Support production systems and BAU activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development in AWS environments.

• 3+ years of experience with REST and SOAP API implementation.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Docker & Containerization

• Spring Framework

• Hibernate/JPA

• AWS RDS

• MongoDB

• Distributed Caching

• Node.js

Good to Have:

• AWS EKS (Kubernetes)

• DevSecOps & CI/CD

• CyberArk

• JIRA & ServiceNow

• Amazon Q, Kiro, or other AI-assisted development tools

• Payments/Banking domain knowledge

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.

• Ability to handle complex technical challenges and production support.

Top 3 Screening Criteria:

1. 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot development in AWS.

2. 3+ years of REST & SOAP API development.

3. Strong experience with Docker, Hibernate/JPA, RDS, MongoDB, Distributed Caching, and Node.js.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,800.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
