Job Summary
Do you want to learn how to cook in a Japanese Fine Dining restaurant? We are looking for an Assistant Cook for our kitchen team. With little or no experience is fine, you just need to be willing to learn. You will be trained in the fundamentals of Japanese culinary skills while maintaining the high standards of our fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing fresh ingredients such as vegetables, seafood, and sauces to support menu quality
Organise ingredients and replenish supplies during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Maintain a clean and organised workstation to uphold hygiene and safety standards
Receive deliveries and inspect ingredient quality to ensure freshness and compliance with standards
Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to support overall kitchen workflow and service readiness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
Willingness to work over weekends and Public Holidays
Self-driven and energetic attitude
No experience or less than 2 years experience in a fine dining restaurant
