Compliance Opportunities – Asset Management & Hedge Funds | Singapore

We are working on several exciting compliance opportunities with established and growing financial services firms, spanning asset management, hedge funds and investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance programmes, policies and procedures in line with applicable MAS requirements and international regulations.
• Provide compliance advisory support to investment, trading and business teams on regulatory obligations, cross-border activities and business initiatives.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, trade surveillance and risk assessments to ensure effective controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Support regulatory filings, reporting, inspections, audits and regulatory queries.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, and promote a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
• Support AML/KYC, governance, regulatory risk management and compliance operations, where relevant to the role.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and external advisers to strengthen compliance frameworks and support business growth.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Approximately 6–10+ years of relevant compliance experience within asset management, hedge funds, financial institutions, fund platforms or regulatory consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory framework, particularly MAS requirements, with exposure to cross-border regulations such as those of the SFC and SEC advantageous.
• Relevant experience in regulatory compliance, investment management compliance, trade compliance, or AML/KYC and governance, depending on the role.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
