Data Center Operations Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on engineer to support data center operations, server and network maintenance, incident troubleshooting, and asset management.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on data center operations experience, with familiarity with facility management, server hardware, and network equipment
• Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and handle day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision
• Able to communicate work outcomes and learn new skills and technologies quickly
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus for regional coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Mount servers and network devices; complete handover checks, deployments, patrols, and failure drills
• Diagnose server and network issues, perform OS-level checks, collect logs, and prepare cases for vendor escalation
• Replace hardware components, support out-of-warranty issues, and complete post-repair configuration, including DHCP and disk remounting
• Manage production, project, and spare-parts inventory; organise storage areas and maintain server records
• Coordinate rack power, facility checks, incident drills, maintenance, and cabling or asset-tagging work
• Handle virtual infrastructure tickets, VM changes and handovers, IP provisioning, network configuration, and access for system checks
• Provide on-site technical support and coordinate with local suppliers, logistics, carriers, IDC providers, and client teams
• Prepare on-duty reports and maintain documentation and archives
