Minimum with Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology/ Mechanical Engineering/ Material Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Preferably with 3-4 years of relevant working experience

Proficiency with SPC, 8D, DOE, FMEA and other QC tools

Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 Quality Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems

Technically competent with good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance

Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

To oversee and lead a team of QA inspectors and technicians to work on daily routine

To control and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and customer complaints

To investigate the root causes of quality incidences by working with the various process owners

To institute appropriate corrective and preventive actions accordingly

To develop and maintain QA documentation such as SOPs, control plans, and inspection criteria

To perform acceptance tests on all new materials and process changes

To monitor the performance of suppliers/ outsources/ subcons and initiate appropriate improvement actions

To provide necessary product engineering support on the new product introductions and process validations

To drive quality continuous improvement initiatives
