We are partnering with a leading global asset manager to hire a Director - Institutional Sales professional to drive business development and client engagement across Southeast Asia.

This is a client-facing role focused on building and managing relationships with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurers, and central banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage institutional client relationships across Singapore and Southeast Asia
• Drive business development and revenue growth through distribution of fixed income, macro, and multi-asset investment strategies
• Engage with clients on portfolio solutions, asset allocation, and investment products
• Partner with internal investment teams to present market insights, strategy views, and customized solutions
• Identify new opportunities across:
• Sovereign wealth funds
• Pension funds
• Insurance companies
• Central banks and official institutions
• Lead RFP/RFI processes, client pitches, and mandate execution
• Stay closely aligned with market developments to articulate macro and investment themes effectively

Ideal Profile

• Min 5 years of experience in institutional sales / client coverage within asset management
• Established relationships with institutional investors in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia
• Strong understanding of:
• Asset allocation
• Public markets
• Alternative investment strategies
• Proven track record in revenue generation and client acquisition
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
