Job Requirements

• Must be proficient in CapCut Desktop.

• Good understanding of video editing fundamentals, including pacing, storytelling, transitions, audio, and visual composition.

• Good understanding of storyboards and shot-by-shot visual storytelling.

• Able to translate scripts or storylines into visual scenes.

• Able to create basic prompts for AI-generated storyboard visuals and scene references.

• Comfortable working with AI-generated images and video assets.

• Able to edit both short-form social media content and longer-form videos.

• Basic knowledge of colour correction and audio adjustment.

• Familiar with common social media formats, including 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Good attention to detail and able to work with creative feedback and revisions.

• Portfolio or previous video editing work is required.

• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

AI & Storyboard Skills

• Familiar with ChatGPT or similar AI tools for brainstorming, scripting, and prompt development.

• Able to write and refine prompts for storyboard frames, scene references, and visual concepts.

• Familiar with AI image-generation tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT Image Generation, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms.

• Basic familiarity with AI video-generation or enhancement tools.

• Familiar with AI subtitle, transcription, voice-generation, and other productivity tools.

• Able to use CapCut AI features and other AI-assisted editing functions.

• Understand how reference images and prompts can be used to maintain visual consistency across scenes.

• Expert-level AI knowledge is not required, but candidates should be comfortable learning and experimenting with new AI creative tools.

CapCut & AI-Assisted Content Creation

We are looking for a creative and efficient Video Editor with a strong sense of visual storytelling. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with storyboards, AI-generated visuals, and modern AI-assisted production workflows.

The role covers social media content, marketing videos, corporate videos, event content, and AI-assisted video productions.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.

• Edit corporate videos, promotional videos, event highlights, interviews, and marketing content.

• Turn raw footage, scripts, and storyboards into engaging and well-paced videos.

• Understand and interpret storyboards, shot sequences, camera directions, and visual references.

• Assist in developing storyboard visuals and scene references based on scripts, storylines, or creative directions.

• Write basic AI prompts to generate storyboard frames, visual references, scenes, characters, environments, and creative concepts.

• Work with AI-generated images and video assets as part of the editing workflow.

• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music, motion graphics, and basic visual effects where required.

• Resize and adapt videos into different formats and aspect ratios for various platforms.

• Work closely with creative, design, and marketing teams to execute content ideas.

• Organise project files, footage, and exported assets properly.

• Handle revisions efficiently and complete projects within deadlines.
