Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain CNC programs for production parts and perform machine setup, including tooling, offsets and machine parameters.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prepare 3D drawings/models and related technical information for machining requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machining methods and cutting parameters according to material, drawing and production requirements.
• Monitor and improve machine running time, cycle time, productivity and machining efficiency.
• Backup and maintain all CNC programs, drawings and technical data in the designated Company server with proper document and version control.
• Verify production lead time and coordinate with Engineering and Production to support production schedules and timely completion of jobs.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine and programming issues and identify the root causes of machine problems, rejected parts and operator-related issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, QC, Maintenance, machine operators and other relevant departments to resolve technical and production issues.
• Provide guidance and training to new employees on CNC machine operation, programs, setup procedures and applicable work instructions, where required.
• Record relevant production information, including production quantities, defects/rejections, machine issues and improvement activities.
• Maintain proper departmental records, reports and filing relating to CNC programs, drawings, production data, SOPs, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure departmental procedures, records and documentation comply with applicable Company standards, quality requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with the Company's safety, environmental, housekeeping and operational policies, procedures and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
• Attend meetings and provide relevant production, technical and programming updates to the immediate superior or Management whenever required.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,900.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
