We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and wants to build a career beyond conventional software development -- working on real-world solutions that help organisations protect their most valuable asset: their data.

What You'll Do

You will be involved in the design, development, integration and support of software solutions related to cybersecurity, data security and privacy.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications and software solutions.
• Develop integrations and APIs between different cybersecurity, data security and enterprise platforms.
• Work with data security and privacy technologies to develop practical solutions for customers.
• Develop dashboards, reporting platforms, workflow applications and automation tools.
• Integrate data from multiple systems and security platforms into centralised applications and dashboards.
• Write clean, maintainable and secure code.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing applications.
• Work with databases, APIs and third-party technology platforms.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity consultants, solution architects, project teams and customers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends and data protection requirements.
• Contribute to the development of SecurePath's internal technology platforms and intellectual property.

Technical Skills We're Looking For

You should have practical development experience in several of the following:

• Python
• JavaScript
• HTML / CSS
• PHP
• SQL
• Web application development
• REST APIs and system integration
• Relational databases
• Git / version control

Cybersecurity Expertise

Experience in cybersecurity is highly desirable, particularly in areas such as:

• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Data security
• Data protection
• Data privacy
• Information security
• Identity and access management
• Endpoint security
• Cloud security
• Security monitoring and analytics
• Security or compliance platforms

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with approximately 3–5 years of software development experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Experience working with enterprise cybersecurity products or integrating security platforms will be a strong advantage. You don't need to be an expert in every technology listed above. We are looking for someone with a strong programming foundation, good problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Professional qualifications and/or certifications will be an added advantage
