Overview

We are looking for an experienced Platform Architect – EUC (End-User Computing) with 5+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and End-User Computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, *************, IGEL OS, and endpoint management. This role requires hands-on architectural leadership, experience developing High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD), and ownership of delivering secure, scalable, and reliable digital workplace solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

What you'll do:

• Author the EUC Platform HLD and LLD; chair the design ratification process.
• Define the Omnissa Horizon stack — Horizon Client, Blast Protocol, App Volumes, DEM — and the App Volumes packaging standards.
• Design the ************* Enterprise Browser deployment, policies and integration with M365 and Conditional Access.
• Design the Igel thin client management environment and endpoint configuration.
• Define the application delivery and integration standards, physical endpoint standards and Bill of Materials.
• Design segregated and restricted VDI configurations to support security use cases.

What you'll need:

• Minimum 5 years as a Platform Architect or Senior EUC Architect on enterprise VDI programmes.
• Demonstrable successful delivery of at least one large-scale VDI deployment of Omnissa Horizon, including on-premises and cloud-hosted workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, EntraID Conditional Access, and Apple Business Manager.
• Working knowledge of ************* design and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Igel design and deployment, including integration with Omnissa Horizon.
• Demonstrable delivery experience in a regulated industry, including familiarity with change control, audit and compliance constraints.
• Experience working in a large, geographically distributed global organisation across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with senior stakeholders and translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills

• VDI: Omnissa Horizon (Blast Protocol, App Volumes, DEM) as default end-user platform.
• Enterprise Browser: *************
• Endpoint management: Microsoft Intune (compliance policies, configuration settings, managed apps).
• Identity: Microsoft EntraID, Active Directory, Identity Federation, Conditional Access for M365.
• Apple stack: Apple Business Manager, Managed Apple ID, Automated Device Enrolment (ADE) into Intune, iPad (COD), iPhone (BYO).
• Thin-client strategy: Igel OS on repurposed HP hardware, dedicated thin-client standards.
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure as the control plane.
