Position : Custody Reconciliation Specialist

Working Duration: Contract with PERSOL until 3 May 2027

Remuneration : RM2,300 to RM2,600 with statutory contribution & leave entitlement

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform daily reconciliation activities across cash and securities accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and discrepancies promptly.
• Support reconciliation processes related to derivative products and custody operations.
• Review operational reports and identify exceptions requiring investigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, custodians, and stakeholders to resolve processing issues.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, service level agreements, and control policies.
• Assist in system migrations, process enhancements, and new product implementation activities.
• Escalate operational risks and exceptions while ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Banking, or related disciplines.
• Experience in reconciliation, custody operations, securities services, fund administration, investment operations, or financial services.
• Knowledge of cash and securities reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Flexible to support different work shifts when required.

Added Advantage If You Have

• Experience using TLM Premium or reconciliation platforms.
• Knowledge of custody services and securities operations.
• Experience investigating cash breaks and reconciliation exceptions.
• Exposure to custodian portals and financial operations systems.
• Understanding of derivatives processing and investment products.
