Core Job Roles:

• Design Engineer: Focuses on creating blueprints, technical drawings, and computer models using tools like AutoCAD.
• Project Manager: Oversees timelines, coordinates resources, tracks budgets, and manages client and contractor relationships.
• Site Engineer: Manages daily operations on-site, conducts inspections, and solves engineering problems during construction.
• Geotechnical Engineer: Analyzes soil composition, rock properties, and site terrain to design safe foundations.
• Environmental / Sustainability Engineer: Evaluates the environmental impact of projects and integrates green building practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Analysis: Study survey reports, maps, blueprints, and geological data to determine project feasibility.
• Cost Estimation: Calculate labor, material, and equipment expenses to prepare economic project budgets.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plans adhere to local building codes, legal guidelines, and environmental regulations.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, government agencies, and clients to align project goals.
• Quality and Safety Control: Conduct regular site inspections to verify structural integrity and enforce health and safety rules.
