Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in risk management and compliance within the payment industry.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.

Strong knowledge of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) card and payment policies, KYC/KYB, AML/CFT requirements, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.

Good understanding of merchant due diligence, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting.

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage compliance matters independently and support managerial responsibilities.

Act as the liaison officer for communications with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and other relevant regulatory authorities.

Lead and oversee the organization's overall risk management and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments, identify compliance gaps, and implement corrective measures.

Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes for employees at all levels.

Independently manage regulatory requirements, KYC/KYB, AML/CFT compliance, merchant due diligence, sanctions and blacklist screening, and CTR/STR submissions.

Handle periodic regulatory reporting and card-network reporting requirements for Visa, Mastercard, UPI, PayNet, and MEPS, where applicable.

Interpret regulatory requirements and develop, review, and implement internal policies, processes, and SOPs for management approval.

Establish transaction and settlement monitoring requirements, fraud prevention controls, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), fraud-loss reporting, and data analysis procedures.

Provide compliance advice and guidance to business units and senior management on regulatory and risk-related matters.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve compliance objectives and strengthen the organization's risk management framework.

Monitor regulatory developments and ensure that compliance policies and procedures remain up to date.

Prepare quarterly risk and compliance awareness reports and presentation materials for Board meetings.
