Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Java and Apache Spark Developer with strong experience in banking or financial services to develop and maintain scalable data processing applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Apache Spark, distributed computing, and large-scale data processing, along with a solid understanding of banking systems, financial data, and banking business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Apache Spark.
• Build and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Spark Core and Spark SQL.
• Develop ETL workflows for banking and financial data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Work with large volumes of banking transaction and financial datasets.
• Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and data processing efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance with banking standards.
• Collaborate with banking business teams, data engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and data processing issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile delivery activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and object-oriented programming.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark, Spark Core, and Spark SQL.
• Experience developing distributed data processing applications.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and processing large datasets.
• Mandatory banking or financial services domain experience.
• Understanding of banking transactions, financial data, or banking applications.
• Experience with performance tuning and application optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
