SITE ENGINEER (CONSTRUCTION)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer to join our ongoing construction project in Lukut, Port Dickson.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in civil construction and drainage works, with strong technical knowledge in construction drawings, site planning, and work programme preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, particularly civil and drainage works.
• Plan, organise and monitor site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare, update and monitor construction work programmes and project schedules.
• Read and interpret approved construction drawings and specifications, and ensure site works comply.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within the planned timeline.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site supervisors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to construction and drainage works.
• Monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and workmanship.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in civil construction works.
• Must have knowledge and practical experience in drainage construction works.
• Must be able to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings independently.
• Must be capable of site planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
• Able to prepare, update, and monitor construction work programmes.
• Good understanding of construction methods, technical specifications, and site operations.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage site activities, and meet project deadlines.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to be based at the project site in Lukut, Port Dickson.

Work Location: Lukut, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
