Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, semiconductor, or related industries.

• Experience in procurement, inventory management, and maintenance coordination is preferred.

• Familiarity with sputter equipment or semiconductor manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of maintenance processes and spare parts management.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or equivalent).

• Strong inventory control and budget tracking skills.

• Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Job Title : Maintenance Technician (Sputter Department)

Department : Engineering / Equipment Maintenance

Job Type: Contract (12-Months) (any extension/renewable, will be depending on your performance or business need)

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the Sputter Department through maintenance coordination, procurement activities, shipping and documentation management, inventory control, budget tracking, and equipment maintenance support. This role ensures efficient operation of departmental activities by managing spare parts, purchase requests, quotations, shipment documentation, and providing technical assistance to the maintenance team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Documentation Management

• Prepare and manage shipping-related documents for equipment, spare parts, and repair services.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with logistics providers and vendors.

• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, customs documentation, and delivery status.

• Track shipment schedules to ensure timely arrival of critical spare parts and equipment.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Request and obtain quotations from suppliers and service providers.

• Evaluate quotations and prepare recommendations for approval.

• Generate Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with company procurement procedures.

• Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, pricing, and order status.

• Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.

Budget Tracking & Cost Control

• Monitor departmental maintenance expenditures and spending against approved budgets.

• Track purchase commitments, invoices, and service costs.

• Prepare monthly budget reports and expenditure summaries.

• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and inventory optimization initiatives.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance spare parts, consumables, and tools inventory.

• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment requests when required.

• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

• Track usage trends and ensure critical spare parts are available to minimize equipment downtime.

• Maintain inventory management systems and records.

Maintenance Support

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for sputter equipment and associated systems.

• Assist maintenance engineers and technicians during equipment troubleshooting and repair activities.

• Coordinate spare parts availability for scheduled maintenance activities.

• Update maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

Administrative Support

• Maintain organized records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, budgets, inventory, and maintenance documentation.

• Prepare reports and presentations related to maintenance, procurement, and inventory activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
