About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with our existing business clients.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, managing accounts and coordinating solutions from the office, rather than focusing primarily on cold-calling or aggressive new business development.

You will work closely with customers, our technical team, vendors and distributors to ensure quotations, proposals, renewals and orders are handled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing business accounts, serving as a key point of contact for customers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Understand customers’ requirements and coordinate internally to provide suitable IT, computer analysis and data recovery solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, renewals and sales orders.
• Liaise with the technical team, vendors and distributors to obtain solution information, pricing and product availability.
• Coordinate customer requirements and ensure solutions are delivered accurately and within the required timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, quotations, sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
• Monitor account activity and follow up on pending quotations, renewals and orders.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and contract renewals within existing accounts.
• Follow up with customers regularly to understand their ongoing requirements and identify potential business opportunities.
• Support the sales team with account-related administration and coordination where required.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and timely follow-up throughout the sales process.

Job Requirements: 

• Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, IT or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in account management, sales coordination, customer service or B2B sales will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in the IT, computer hardware/software, data recovery or technology industry are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with business clients.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to understand customer requirements and communicate them clearly to technical teams and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with customer and sales records.
• Positive, responsible and customer-oriented attitude.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
